Harper Macaw – Raspberry Cheesecake

I’m always excited whenever I see Harper Macaw release a new bar because I’ve liked all of them! When I saw the announcement on Instagram that this Raspberry Cheesecake bar was created for Valentine’s Day, my mind was set on trying it and as a fan of cheesecake, the flavor combination sounded wonderful.

I could smell raspberries and the hint of cream cheese. The bar smelled delicious as though I were going to actually eat a cheesecake. My bite started with the flavor of cream cheese, raspberries and creaminess from the chocolate. There was a crunchy texture from the graham cracker and the chocolate melted smoothly and relatively quickly. It was as though I were eating a cheesecake but with chocolaty goodness! The back of the bar’s packaging says it’s made with Dominican beans, which I think is a great pair using the natural fruitiness of Dominican cocoa with raspberries.

Would I eat this bar again? Definitely! If you like cheesecake, give this bar a try before it’s discontinued since this is a limited edition flavor. I’m looking forward to seeing what Harper Macaw comes up with next!
