I’ve shared about Sucré’s beautiful candied rose petal and pistachio bar before, and this time I wanted to try out a couple other bars by them.

Ever since I’d tried Chocolove’s pretzel and chocolate bar, I’ve been more willing to try other chocolate bars with pretzels in them. I have to admit that I still have a slight addiction to chocolate covered pretzels 😉

I liked Sucré’s pretzel and chocolate bar! The chocolate was smooth, creamy and sweet. The saltiness from the pretzels was not too much, compared to other pretzel and chocolate bars I’ve had before. They had a nice balance between salty and sweet, and the pretzels added a good crunchy texture. I ate the entire bar within a couple of sittings 😉

For some reason I’m not a big fan of coconut, and I’m not sure why. I feel like most people I know love coconut. This might become a journey of personal discovery… what is it about coconut that I can’t fall in love with it? :/

I still figured I’d try Sucré’s coconut, almond and dark chocolate bar anyway. The scent of coconut from the bar was strong. The coconut and slivered almonds provided a soft, chewy texture to the bar. The coconut added fruitiness to the bittersweet flavor of the dark chocolate. Every bite flavor-wise was filled mostly with coconut than chocolate, but it gave warmth to the bar. This would be a great summer and tropical chocolate! I could imagine myself at the beach eating this 🙂
